EU approves recycled phosphorus for use in organic farming

The European Commission has approved recovered calcium phosphate for use as fertiliser in organic agriculture. A breakthrough decision that opens up the market for high quality fertilisers such as RevoCaP, a clean recycled phosphorus product from incinerated sewage sludge.

Scientific study reveals rising phosphorus risks for Europe

According to a study by leading researchers from the UK and Australia, Europe is moving toward a serious phosphorus shortage, as agricultural demand in the EU could more than double in the coming decades, while demand from batteries, photovoltaics and semiconductor manufacturing could increase up to tenfold.
