How EasyMining protects your personal data

EasyMining respects the privacy of our customers and employees, and strives to ensure a high level of protection in all processing of personal data.

Our guidelines for data protection

Processing carried out by EasyMining is done in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation. In the EU/EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies.

Under the applicable data protection legislation EasyMining is responsible for the processing of your personal data in accordance with what is stated in the following.

What types of personal data do we collect?

Personal data refer to information which, directly or indirectly, can be linked to you as an individual. Examples of such information are your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and personal ID number. Processing of personal data refers to all operations which are performed on the personal data, such as collection, recording and storage.

Personal data may only be processed for specified and explicit purposes and will not be sold to third parties.

EasyMining processes personal data that you have provided us for the purpose of administering enquiries and any contracts, and to provide information and service in connection therewith, such as enquiries about services, price enquiries or subscriptions to our newsletters.

Your personal data may also be used for marketing and follow-up, and for sales and product development for the purpose of improving our products and services. If you do not wish to receive marketing and/or offers, please contact us using the below contact details.

Information regarding the processing of personal data for employees are provided by the HR department.

Protection of personal data

EasyMining seeks to ensure a high level of security for your personal data and has for this purpose implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction or loss, alteration, unauthorised access.

Customer register

As part of Ragn-Sells Group, EasyMining have access to Ragn-Sells shared business customer register. The purpose of the register is to manage our customer relations in the best possible way and to coordinate the services and advice provided by the companies in the Group.

Ragn-Sells business customer register contains information about each customer, such as company name, address, information about the customer’s contact persons as well as information about which EasyMining, as a Ragn-Sells Group company, the business customer is a customer of and what services and products it has a contract for. For private individuals, we save the contact information that is needed to provide and bill for a purchased service.

Your data protection rights

Under the applicable personal data legislation, you have the right to request access to the personal data that is being processed about you:

  • to have inaccurate personal data rectified,
  • to request that EasyMining is cease to process, or erase, your personal data,
  • to withdraw consent for certain types of processing (where consent has been obtained),
  • to request that the processing of your personal data be limited,
  • to exercise your right to data portability,
  • to object to the processing of your personal data.

If so, please contact EasyMinings local customer service. In some cases, we may be unable to fulfil a request, such as a request for erasure or limitation, if we have a legal obligation to save the details or need to protect our legal interests. We may request further information from you if this is necessary to verify that the request is coming from you and not from another person who is trying to access or gain control over your personal data. If you believe your personal data are being processed in violation of applicable law, you can submit a complaint directly to us or to the Swedish Data Protection Authority.

Cookies

EasyMining uses cookies to monitor how visitors use our website and to identify repeat visitors. Cookies are small files sent by a website to the user’s (visitor’s) browser in order to increase functionality, to monitor the use of the website or for other purposes. You can configure your browser to reject cookies that are saved to your hard drive. If you wish to do this, please refer to your web browser’s user instructions. Temporary “session cookies” are saved in the browser itself and are deleted when you close the browser.

How long do we keep your details?

We erase your personal information when it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it is stored, provided that EasyMining does not need to store the information to fulfil a legal or regulatory obligation or a government regulation, decision, request or guidelines. With regard to information for billing and payment purposes, for example, we save information as source documents or for the purpose of defending our interests for up to ten years after the data was created or for as long as any dispute is ongoing.
We store personal information in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation.
