Creating circularity

We believe that technologies that create true circularity are the only solution for ensuring that the earth´s vital resources do not run out.

At EasyMining, circularity means recovering critical resources from waste and returning them to productive use. Through industrial-scale technologies, we extract essential nutrients and materials such as phosphorus, nitrogen and salts from ash, wastewater and other residual streams - transforming what was once discarded into high-quality, market-ready products.

Creating circularity is not only about reducing waste; it is essential for securing the resources that modern society depends on. Food production, for example, relies heavily on phosphorus and nitrogen - nutrients that are finite, geographically concentrated and vulnerable to supply disruptions. When these nutrients are lost in waste streams, they contribute to pollution instead of supporting agriculture. By recovering and reusing them, we close the nutrient loop, reduce dependence on virgin raw materials and strengthen long-term food security.

At the same time, our processes remove harmful substances, lowering environmental impact and enabling safer reuse. The result is a system where valuable resources remain in circulation; environmental burdens are reduced and industries, including agriculture, become more resilient and sustainable.

ASH2™PHOS

EasyMinings´ Ash2Phos technology extracts phosphorus and other resources from sewage sludge ash.

AQUA2™N

EasyMining´s Aqua2N technology removes ammonium nitrogen from wastewater streams and converts it to ammonium sulphate.

ASH2™SALT

EasyMining´s Ash2Salt technology extracts pure potassium, sodium and calcium chloride from hazardous fly ash.

Changing our view on waste

The way we extract raw materials and produce new things is responsible for half of the world’s climate emissions - but there is a solution. Together with Ragn-Sells we want to change the perspective on waste. (Link to ragnsells.com)

Why phosphorus matters?

Every loaf of bread, every vegetable, every meal begins with phosphorus. Without it, crops can’t grow. Put simply, no crops, no food. Phosphorus is vital to the entire food chain – from soils and crops to animals and people. It is used in fertilisers and animal feed. (Link to ragnsells.com)

Reducing environmental impact

EasyMining’s solutions reduce the environmental impact by recovering and detoxifying critical nutrients that can replace virgin resources. These solutions have a direct impact on four of the Sustainable Development Goals:

  • Sustainable industry, innovations and infrastructure (SDG 9)
  • Sustainable consumption and production (SDG 12) and
  • Combating climate change (SDG 13)
  • Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17)
